This week I successfully completed the development of distinguish last week. The work adopts the way of contrast and the combination of clothing and posters to show the heart under camouflage.
The production process mainly has two stages. The first stage is the design of the main clothes needed for shooting. The inspiration of the clothes is that most people like to pretend that there is no emotional fluctuation on the surface and cover up their extreme tangled emotions and ideas with calm camouflage. I choose to transform a white T-shirt. At the same time, the underwear is private and covered by other clothes. Sometimes it shows my inner thoughts and emotions. Therefore, I deconstruct it, put it outside the T-shirt, and use embroidery combined with fabric transformation to show my inner emotions. The problem encountered at this stage is in the direction of design, that is, how to transform the dress that is in contrast to the T-shirt that represents covering up emotion. At the beginning, I didn't bother to transform the outline, so the visual contrast effect of the preliminary finished product is not obvious. Therefore, I made a subversive change in the profile. I chose to close the lower part of the waist and connect underwear at the bottom to turn the clothes into a one-piece swimsuit.
The second stage is the production of posters after shooting. The challenge at this stage is the choice and matching of colors, because the T-shirt with white background color, after spending a period of time in many colors, I finally have to choose and use a negative film to let the audience focus on the clothing of the poster and understand the contrast I want to show.
At the stage of display, I also adjusted the layout several times. At the beginning, the layout was scattered, and the interaction between clothes and posters was not large, so it was difficult for people to find the viewing order and thinking direction. The teacher found my problem and adjusted it for me, adjusted and shifted the visual focus, and finally covered a wave component poster with clothes to make the whole consistent with the theme of "disguise".
